Urban: 6 bridges are designed for an activity in the town’s Riverpark. The connect and activate both parts of the city. They are for pedestrians only.
Architecture: The Playground-, The Bar-, The Sofa-, The Picnic-, The Balcony- and the Y-bridge each activate in a different way, facilitating the surrounding existing uses. Strong colors highlight the bridges and their functions.
Landscape: The bridges are the heart of the landscape plan. In the park itself gardens and green fields dominate since the bridges embed the facilities.
Sustainability: The bridges activate the riverbed and therefor create a safe and maintained green park. The intervention to the natural context is minimal by pre-fabrication, minimal foundations and large spans (in steel).
